Generic Name: Tadalafil
Tadalafil is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. Erectile dysfunction is a medical problem that often affects men of all ages. In fact, approximately 40% of men in this country have experienced at least one recent erection. In other words, even if you may feel dizzy or faint, you must rely on your ability to get or maintain an erection.
Nonsurgical treatment for ED typically involves increasing the dose of a medication known as a PDE5 inhibitor. In some cases, this medication may be used to treat enlarged prostate (BPH), a condition in which the prostate gland becomes enlarged. In BPH, the prostate is enlarged to allow urine to flow in order to urinate. In most cases, your doctor will perform some tests to determine if you are in fact in an "Erectile Dysfunction" (ED) situation. While there is no cure for ED, there are a variety of treatment options available. One of the most common types of ED treatment is the use of PDE5 inhibitors. These medications work by relaxing blood vessels in the penis, allowing increased blood flow into the area when sexually stimulated. Another type of ED treatment is the use of PDE5 inhibitors in men who have or who are taking nitrates (such as isosorbide dinitrate or isosorbide mononitrate). However, it is important to note that while PDE5 inhibitors may be effective in treating ED, they are not without risks. The potential risks of PDE5 inhibitors include the following: 1. Low blood pressure 2. Heart problems 3. Seizures 4. Allergic reactions 5. Liver damage 6. Kidney damage 7. Severe stomach problems 8. Allergic reactions 9. Severe heart problems 10. Other 2.
